RALEIGH, NC, October 24, 2007 – Manning Fulton & Skinner, P.A., is pleased to announce that Tom Lyon has joined the firm. A recognized leader in his field and in the community, Mr. Lyon’s practice will focus on corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, and securities.

Mr. Lyon’s experience includes representing privately held companies in domestic and international transactions, assisting technology companies with licensing, development and service agreements, and serving as outside general counsel to various companies. His industry experience includes: financial services; technology; life sciences; warehouse/distribution; and manufacturing/sales.
Mr. Lyon is recognized as a North Carolina Super Lawyer in the areas of mergers and acquisitions and corporate law and is included in Business North Carolina’s Legal Elite in the area of business law. He received the “40 under 40” award in 2003 by Triangle Business Journal and is a 2002 graduate of the Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce Leadership Raleigh program.
His community involvement includes serving as a co-founder and director of Band Together as well as a director of Boys & Girls Club of Wake County, Goodwill Community Foundation, Goodwill Industries of Eastern North Carolina and Stop Hunger Now. He is also a member of the Leadership Council at the Church of the Apostles.
