RALEIGH, NC – The medical malpractice defense team for the law firm Manning, Fulton & Skinner P.A. has moved to the Triangle and will now practice in the firm’s Raleigh office.
Robert S. Shields Jr. heads the medical-malpractice team, which includes associates J.T. Mlinarcik and Katherine M. Bulfer. The team specializes in representing physicians and hospitals in malpractice cases.
Shields’ practice merged with Manning Fulton in January 2007. Shields practiced with Manning Fulton from 1981 until 1991, when he and his family moved to New Bern. The practice complements other services that Manning Fulton offers, including real-estate and corporate law, estate planning, government relations and litigation.
“We’re very pleased to have Rob and his team join us in our Raleigh office” said David D. Dahl, Manning Fulton’s managing partner. “Rob’s work is highly respected throughout the state, and having all our lawyers in one location lends itself to more collaboration among attorneys with diverse specialties.
