RALEIGH, NC – Ritchie W. Taylor, an attorney with Manning Fulton & Skinner, P.A., has been named the founding Chair of the NC Bar Association Business Law Section Committee on Franchising.
The Committee is charged with developing continuing legal education programs on franchising, working to increase awareness among both the public and the Bar of the laws governing the sale of franchise and business opportunities, and helping the section develop the Bar Association’s legislative agenda.
Taylor is the only NC attorney ever awarded the Certified Franchise Executive designation by the Institute of Certified Franchise Executives. He has substantial experience representing franchisors and product distributors in developing distribution systems that comply with federal and state regulations. In addition to his work with franchisors, Taylor also advises franchisees in selecting franchise systems, negotiating franchise agreement terms, and acquiring or selling existing franchise locations.
