John Hardin, chair of Manning Fulton’s Government Relations practice and a practitioner consistently recognized as one of the state’s best lobbyists, assumed the presidency of the North Carolina Professional Lobbyists Association (NCPLA).
John was sworn in during NCPLA’s Annual Meeting on October 27, 2022, and his term as the organization’s president follows two terms on the organization’s executive committee.
John represents clients before the North Carolina General Assembly, state agencies, local governments, and several federal agencies. John and the government relations team represent over 50 clients, including major national corporations such as Charter, Expedia, and national trade associations such as the Pharmaceutical Research Manufacturers Association (PhRMA). John represents many North Carolina organizations and entities that are vital to the state, including the Insurance Federation of North Carolina and the North Carolina Railroad Company.
As the leading organization of professional lobbyists in North Carolina, NCPLA provides its members with timely information and resources, continuing education opportunities and networking events.
