Manning, Fulton and Skinner, P.A. is a proud Silver Sponsor of Empty Bowls, Urban Ministries of Durham’s signature special event, which will take place on Thursday, March 3, 2016 from 5:30 – 7:00pm. Celebrating the tenth anniversary of Empty Bowls, the goal this year is to raise $100,000 to offer food, shelter and a future to very poor and homeless neighbors. Attendees will have the chance to sample soups prepared by more than a dozen local chefs and vote for your favorites. Local artists and artisans are making hundreds of hand-crafted bowls, and attendees have the opportunity to select one to take home. The family-friendly evening (kids 6 and under admitted free for soup only) will be a great time with friends and learn a little bit more about the work UMD to feed, clothe and shelter our neighbors.
