Manning Fulton is pleased to announce Partner Carlie Smith has been designated a Certified Franchise Executive (“CFE”) by the International Franchise Association.
Over the last 5 years, Carlie Smith has worked to obtain her CFE designation by completing the required coursework in various aspects of franchising, obtaining the required professional experience, and passing the CFE examination. In addition to the knowledge gained, the CFE designation demonstrates her and our Firm’s commitment to excellence in franchise representation.
Carlie has presented at the Firm’s Franchise Success Summit and has regularly shared her expertise through contributing to the Firm’s Franchise Feed blog, discussing current issues and key points for franchise leaders. In addition to being a Chair of the IFA’s Women’s Franchise Network for the Raleigh Chapter and member of the IFA, Carlie was recognized in the 2025 edition of The Best Lawyers in America for Corporate Law.
