Manning Fulton is pleased to congratulate our client, Sergi Roura Adell of Grifols, on his recent appointment by Governor Roy Cooper to the NCWorks Commission. The Commission is tasked with recommending policies and strategies that will ensure North Carolina has a well-trained workforce to meet the current and future needs of the state’s employers.
“As the President of Grifols’ North American facilities, Sergi is uniquely qualified to contribute to the NCWorks Commission,” said John Hardin, a partner at Manning Fulton. “As a result of their expansion in Clayton, Grifols plans to hire hundreds of new workers over the next few years, so Sergi has firsthand knowledge of the challenges of finding qualified employees. Grifols has also taken a proactive approach to workforce development by working with Johnston County Community College to train future employees, so Sergi will immediately contribute meaningful ideas to the Commission.”
