Manning Fulton government relations client TROSA (Triangle Residential Options for Substance Abusers, Inc.) received an appropriation of $6 million in the state budget enacted this week. TROSA is a two-year, residential substance-abuse treatment center based in Durham, North Carolina. As a result of the ongoing opioid crisis, TROSA has not been able to keep up with the demand for their services.
The $6 million included in the state budget will assist the non-profit in establishing a new, second campus in the Triad region. “TROSA is an incredible organization that helps their residents recover from addiction, and also ensures their long-term well-being by providing their residents with vocational training and job placement services,” said Will Morgan, a partner at Manning Fulton. “John Hardin and I were honored to be part of the team that helped TROSA secure this appropriation.”
