Anneliese N. McInnis

About

Anneliese McInnis is an attorney in Manning Fulton’s Commercial Real Estate practice group. Her practice focuses on transactional real estate matters including commercial leasing, commercial real estate finance, and title examination & certifications.

Before joining Manning Fulton, Anneliese served as a law clerk at Dominion Energy, where she drafted memoranda on eminent domain standards in Virginia and South Carolina, along with CERCLA lessee liability and regulatory compliance issues. She also clerked at Bland & Sorkin, P.C., where she drafted transactional documents and negotiation clauses for client agreements and researched insurance regulatory compliance.

Anneliese served as a research assistant to Professor Alexandra Silva at the University of Richmond School of Law, supporting the Virginia Access to Justice Commission’s work on language access in civil proceedings and non-lawyer paraprofessional programs.

Anneliese earned her J.D. from the University of Richmond School of Law, where she served as Senior Articles Editor for the Journal of Law and Technology and participated in Moot Court. She earned her B.A. in Political Science, magna cum laude, from North Carolina State University, where she was a member of the University Scholars Program and served in NC State Student Government.

Outside the office, Anneliese enjoys pickleball, baking, and yoga.
