Effective July 1, 2020, Judd Welborn will serve a three-year term on the North Carolina Bar Association’s (“NCBA’s”) Litigation Section Council, through June 30, 2023.
The NCBA Litigation Section takes the lead in addressing changes in the rules of civil procedure, the ethics rules and other statutes affecting civil litigation, as well as helps mold the NCBA’s legislative agenda.
Section Council, consisting of just 14 plaintiff and defense attorneys statewide, is tasked with achieving a balanced approach to the Section’s work.
Mr. Welborn has also been appointed Co-Chair of the Litigation Section’s Ethics Committee, a position he will hold through June 30, 2021.
