Jessica represents individuals and businesses in Complex Business Disputes and also assists clients in Insurance Coverage Disputes, Franchise Contract and Disclosure Disputes, and Employment Disputes.
She is the Litigation Practice Group Leader and Recruiting Committee Chair for Manning Fulton.
About
Jessica Vickers has a wide-ranging litigation practice that includes complex business litigation, employment litigation and insurance coverage litigation. Specifically, she represents clients in franchise and license disputes ranging from discrete termination claims to significant multi-franchisee suits involving contract and disclosure disputes. She also works with clients dealing with claims related to non-competes and other restrictive covenants, trade secrets, unfair trade practices, and discrimination and retaliation.
Jessica represents individuals and companies from a variety of industries in business disputes in state and federal courts and the North Carolina Business Court. She uses her experience as a clerk at the United States District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina to help clients develop strategies for navigating legal issues and find effective resolutions both in and out of the courtroom.

Representative Matters
Represented the spouse beneficiary of ERISA Accidental Death and Dismemberment Policy to procure policy benefits. At summary judgment, the federal district court ruled in favor of the beneficiary and directed that the insurance company pay the $1 million policy limit due and owing under the policy. The insurance company did not appeal the court’s decision.
