John R. Cella, Jr., a partner in Manning Fulton’s corporate practice group, will speak on Estate Taxation at the Basics of Estate Administration course offered to lawyers and paralegals by the North Carolina Bar Association (NCBA). The course, planned by the NCBA Estate Planning & Fiduciary Law Section of the NCBA, is a training program that tackles the entire estate administration process from the initial client conference to final distribution of assets to beneficiaries. John counsels clients in tax, estate, and business planning matters. He advises clients on state law probate and federal income, estate, and gift tax law consequences of wealth transfers. John drafts simple and complex wills, trusts, and other documents for numerous clients, including retirees, landowners, widows and widowers, executives and professionals, family business owners, individuals or couples in second marriages, recently divorced individuals, and young parents.
